Hi SEAD scholars
and families!
My name is Anna
Driscoll, and I will be the SEAD Intern at East Boston High School for the
spring. I am starting my internship this Thursday, April 2nd, and I am very
excited to meet you! I hope that this spring I will be able to support the SEAD
scholars as they finish junior year strong, and I will continue Maggie and
Mrynna’s work in discussing the path to college with SEAD students and families.
I am a junior at
Dartmouth – the same year as the SEAD scholars! – and I am majoring in both Geography
and Linguistics. I come from the small city of Syracuse, New York, where I grew
up with my parents and my twin brother John. When I’m not studying, I love to
dance, listen to music, and sing in the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir. I also like
cooking and baking, and I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. A couple weeks ago, I
returned from a Dartmouth study abroad program in New Zealand. It was a
beautiful place and a wonderful learning experience, but it’s nice to be back
after going so far away.
