Three days into Eastie and the nerves are gone! I am really happy
to be here and get to know the students. There are some really colorful characters here which I love. I have had
the chance to meet with almost everyone, but we will see each other later today. The scholars and I have started our one on one meetings and setting up STUDY HALL! It is great to see that many of the
students are on top of the grades or know how to improve them. This is a really
independent lot and they are going to do great in college.
I have some really cool stuff planned with
the students like Dave and Busters, movies, museums, HUZZAH Tavern Nights (historical reenactment) and college visits for this winter.
